Kavala

OVERVIEW Kavala regional unit is the easternmost within the region of Macedonia. The imposing Pangaio mountains, reaching 1,957 m are situated in the west. The river Nestos, protected by the Natura 2000 and the Ramsar Convention, flows along the east.
