-The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Greece edged up to 11.2% in April 2023, from an upwardly revised 11.1% in the previous month, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Thursday.

-In 2022, the value of transactions made with plastic money in Greece stood at EUR 54 billion, an amount representing 38.5% of total consumer spending, which reached EUR 130 billion in the period under review, according to data from Cardlink.

-Supermarket sales increased by 9.1% in January-April 2023 but volumes decreased by 3.5%, a report by NielsenIQ revealed with foods/beverages (8.9%) and packaged foods (9.3%) leading the sales growth.

-The 10-year Greek bond yield fell to its lowest levels in 10 months this week, returning to levels seen in August 2022, AMNA reported.
