-The five-day debate on the 2024 state budget begins on Wednesday (Dec. 13) in Parliament and will wrap up on Sunday (Dec. 17), AMNA reported.

-Greek exports stood at 4.42 billion euros in October 2023 compared with €4.85 billion in October 2022, including fuel products, ELSTAT data showed. Meanwhile, the value of imports decreased by 19.4% on an annual basis and amounted to €8.95 billion.


-The general assembly of notaries’ associations has decided to extend a strike that began on November 4 until January 8, but with some exceptions, including for preparing preliminary agreements for real estate sales and acquisitions and cases with rigid timetables, Kathimerini reported.


Two Greek women were among Lloyd’s prestigious List “Top in Ship Finance” for 2023, with Eurobank’s Maria Christina Margelou taking 7th place, and Marina Hadjipateras from TMV coming in 9th.


Greek hotels at winter destinations are currently at 90% capacity for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays (from December 22 to January 7), Hellenic Hoteliers Federation (POX) Secretary General Aggelos Kallias who is president of the Drama Hoteliers Association, told AMNA.
