-Piraeus and Italy’s Genoa Chambers of Commerce signed a memorandum of cooperation aiming to create favourable conditions for the development of economic relations between the businesses of the two cities.

-Airlines have increased their available air seats for travel to Greece this summer by 10.1% from last year, anticipating strong demand, Kathimerini reported. Scheduled air seats from the UK have increased by 6.4% to 5.5 million, from Germany 11% to 4.5 million, from France 10.1% while from the US have increased by 27.2% to 613,200 seats for the March-October period.
-The total passenger traffic in Greek ports increased by 2.6% in the third quarter of 2023 compared to the third quarter of 2022, according to the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).

Road safety measures will be implemented by the Hellenic Police in anticipation of the Greek pre-Lent carnival (Apokries) and Clean Monday celebrations, during the period from March 15 to 18, aiming at the safe movement of citizens and the prevention of traffic accidents, AMNA reported.
