-Unpaid taxes stood at 1.539 billion euros in the first two months of 2024, the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR) data showed. The number of debtors totaled 3,878,712 individuals and legal entities.
-New significant increases began to appear in the one-liter packages of extra virgin olive oils on the shelves of the large supermarket chains Naftemporiki reported. The difference – rise in price reaches even 3.41 euros per liter and the final price now stands at 18 euros in some of them.
-The year 2023 closed with a primary surplus reaching 1.86% of GDP or 4.09 billion euros, according to the data announced by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).

Market rents for older office spaces in Greece saw a noticeable increase in the first quarter of 2024 on an annual basis, a new report by GEOAXIS property & valuation services shows. This hike was consistent across all six study areas, with a notable decade-long average increase of 40%.

-During February 2024, arrivals in tourist accommodation establishments amounted to 773,104 and nights spent amounted to 1,677,685, recording an increase of 1.2% in arrivals and of 1.6% in nights
spent when compared to the corresponding month of 2023, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) announced.
-Greece ranks in the top 5 favorite investment destinations for hotel units in Europe, a survey on commercial real estate conducted by CBRE revealed. More than 60 hotel projects are set to be developed in the country over the next four years, Oikonomikos Taxydromos reported.
