-Compensation payable by insurance companies for property damage inflicted during the summer wildfires in Greece is estimated at almost 49 million euros, a report by the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies (HAIC) reveals.
– Seven out of ten self-employed people in Greece declare incomes lower than 780 euros per month, or 10,920 euros per year, according to the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE).

Israelis scour Thessaloniki‘s real estate market for housing in the shadow of the war in Gaza, Oikonomikos Taxydromos reported. Strong demand also exists for Athens. Cyprus, due to its proximity to Israel, is a country in first place, followed by Greece. In 2022 a historical record of arrivals from Israel to Greece was recorded, reaching 722,549 visitors. In Thessaloniki, 11% of overnight stays were from Israelis.
