-Greece’s unemployment rate fell to 9.6% of the workforce in October 2023 from 11.8% in October 2022 and a revised upwards 10.3% rate in September 2023, Hellenic Statistical Authority data showed.
-The Greek economy is projected to increase by 2.4% this year and 2% next week, rising again to 2.4% in 2025, the OECD said in its economic survey report released on Wednesday.
-Athens lawyers will continue to abstain from their duties to protest the new tax bill up until December 8, the Athens Bar Association said in a statement.
-Taxi drivers in Athens are holding a 48-hour strike on Tuesday, December 5 and Wednesday, December 6, requesting the withdrawal of the draft law on taxation, AMNA reported.
